Universal Pictures and AMC Theaters are giving up to 10,000 tickets to veterans and active military for the Oct. 26, 7 p.m. preview screening of the film.
The film is based on a true story and focuses on a group of soldiers readjusting to civilian life after returning home from the war in Iraq.
Free tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be picked up at the AMC box office of participating theaters starting at 9 a.m. on Oct. 26.
Each location is giving away 25 tickets, and recipients must show a valid, government-issued VA or military ID to receive a free ticket.
Participating Bergen and Passaic County theaters include:
- AMC Clifton Commons 16 in Clifton
- AMC Garden State 16 in Paramus
- AMC Starplex Ridgefield Park 12 in Ridgefield Park
- AMC Dine-in Shops at Riverside in Hackensack
